PiggyRide offers Free Kid’s workshops each week on both weekdays & weekends every month. But Why Free?

It is because PiggyRide wants kids to explore all learning opportunities without any hurdle & unwrap their interests. Moreover, being a children-oriented platform, we aim to make kids’ experiences the best.

We have an excellent number of free Kid’s workshops each month & 100’s of students get registered for it. All workshops are for the age group 5 -18 yrs, and no prior knowledge is required to enroll in any of them. Each session is for 60 Minutes.

Picking up the top 15 Free Workshops from the Month of January so that can give you a glimpse of the variety that we can cater to you each month.

1. Handwriting Workshop – Improve Writing

 The Handwriting Workshop helped students to explore the right ways of holding a pen while writing, pen strokes, etc., and other things like the specific shape of letters, e.g. their roundness or sharpness, Regular or irregular spacing between letters, the slope of the letters & the thickness of letters.

2. Classical Music  – Connecting Roots

The Classical Music Workshop helped students to explore the Basics of Swaras in Indian Classical Music, Knowledge to sing Swaras with proper pitch & enhanced tips for voice quality, vocal clarity, and flexibility. It was quite a calm and peaceful session of music.

3. Drum Workshop – Energetic Beats

Drum Workshop helped students to have an idea of the basics of drumming, and also familiarized them with the act of drumming. The workshop was friendly and age-appropriate, and help the student to acquaint comfortably. It was surely one of the energetic workshops.

4. Yoga & Meditation Workshop – Stay Calm

Yoga & Meditation Workshop aimed to help kids with imparting awareness regarding Physical Fitness, Better balance & improved coordination, Calmness, and Effective movement practices that Yoga can bring. The session was full of interaction & deep learning for forming postures.

5. French Workshop – Speak A Foreign Language

The amazing French Workshop helped children with learning basic French words which made them get a glimpse of language and some basic understanding. It included learning French for Introduction, Alphabets, Greetings, Numbers, & Relations. French is one of the easiest foreign languages, Kids Picked it quickly.

6. Guitar Workshop – Be A Rockstar

The Guitar Workshop covered the basics of the major scale – finger placements, right-hand & left-hand posture sitting posture for guitar. Holding c major scale and c minor scale play along with beats. The workshop was intended to let children understand & discover the fundamentals of the Guitar.

7. Zumba Workshop – Stay Fit

Zumba is an emerging dance trend among children and is this Workshop was a perfect way to imbibe exercise in children which otherwise they are not very inclined to do on routine days. This workshop was full of fun & exercises. Children remained keenly interested till the end of the session.

8. Spoken English – Speak the Best

Spoken English workshop focused on imparting Spoken English overview techniques, strengthened communication skills, highlighted common mistakes in English, new words, idioms with proper use of grammar. The aim of the Spoken English workshop was to make kids confident while speaking.

9.  Painting Workshop – Let Fingers Paint

In this Finger Painting Workshop, Kids learned techniques used for applying paint to an object from fingers. They explored – How to use their fingers, how to give art 3d look, reckon proportion and perspective, shadow, highlights, and gradations of tone. This session was full of creativity.

10. Grammar Workshop – Be Good With Grammar

In the Grammar workshop, kids were introduced to the Structure of Words, Phrases, Clauses, Sentences, and the how-to Frame Longer Texts. The kids will also learn 12 forms of tenses, 8 parts of Speech, Modals, Synthesis, and the correct usage of certain pronunciations. This session was packed with full learning.

11. German workshop – Speak Like A German

The German Language Workshop helped kids to keep their first step in the big world of this culturally-rich language & they explored the basic words in it. Few quick activities were also done in the session that made kids remain active & focused.

12. Calligraphy Workshop – Best Writing

The workshop aims to help children learn to create their cards and quick handwritten pieces etc, with calligraphy over it. It covered calligraphy for -Basic & advanced strokes with a pencil, Lower- & upper-case alphabets, and Bubble writing and word formation. This was one of the soothing workshops that kids liked a lot.

13. Bharatanatyam – For Classical Lovers

The Bharatanatyam workshop was aimed to introduce Bharatanatyam to the children and eventually intended to develop their interest in the same. The session covered – technique and alignment, Aramandi improvement, injury prevention, strength and flexibility, Hastas, basics of Bharatanatyam. Kids also explored accurate body postures and position along with symmetric hand questions.

14. Abacus Workshop – Enhancing Sharpness

The Abacus workshop was aimed to help kids in enhancing concentration, memory, speed, accuracy, Visualization, decision making, strategical thinking, and brain development. The workshop session included – Introduction of Abacus, Right brain development, Mental ability, Concentration, Visualization, Fun learning & Tenacity, Intuition & Logic Development.

15. Mandala Workshop – Calm Art

The Mandala workshop was intended to help children to make their own fun-loving patterns for creating beautiful art pieces. It helped them to increase their concentration-time while adding this creative and simple skill to their list. The session was easy to follow and children enjoyed the interactions with all their hearts.

There were multiple workshops for the same categories by different experienced instructors on alternate weeks. Also, they were more workshops related to other extra curriculum activities like belly dancing, oil paintings, art & craft, and much more.
